“The Boss“

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the zoo lake bowling club, lies one of our favourite spots. Whenever we’re in the mood for an entertaining evening accompanied by good wine, atmosphere and the best ribs in Joburg, Scusi in tree lined suburb of Parkview is the place that comes to mind. Ribs? Not an ideal place for a first date; everything else on the menu can be eaten with more finesse. Add to this the secret ingredient, Grant, the Boss (always wearing a Boss T-shirt). He will make you feel at home from the moment you step into his establishment. and make himself feel at home at your table.

For a less messy option go all out and indulge in the duck, another house speciality (a little expensive), or the fillet or salmon. Ask for the great risotto accompaniment instead of chips. For a lighter & more “easy on the pocket” option, the burgers are great.

To end off a great meal, the deserts are masterfully crafted. Don’t leave without sipping on an espresso – they’re almost as good as those made by the baristas in Italia.

Until we eat again,

Your Taste Buds,
